The Argentine press acclaimed Pablo González Jazey´s interpretation of the Concierto de Aranjuez as a flawless and subtle performance…brilliant interpretation… ” Pablo González Jazey has been heard in concert halls in Argentina, France, Italy, Brazil and the United States and has been featured as soloist in the major guitar/orchestra repertoire. Apart from his excellence in the classical repertoire, González Jazey champions the folk music from his native Northwest region of Argentina, offering recitals that marry his technical mastery of the instrument and his command of the traditional folk flavor. Pablo González Jazey is currently residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina; where he is on the faculty of the Buenos Aires Manuel de Falla Conservatory .
Thomas Koch, founding president of GuitarSarasota performed at Weill Recital Hall in New York City, the German Embassy Auditorium in Washington DC, Eglise Saint-Merri in Paris, France and Kulturhaus Mitte in Berlin, Germany. In 2006, he founded GuitarSarasota, which has become one of the most successful non-profit classical guitar organizations in Florida. Thomas teaches guitar at Booker High School VPA, the State College of Florida (MCC), and Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. The critics wrote about Thomas Koch: “... Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo, featured Thomas Koch playing guitar. Koch displayed a definite mastery of the guitar and fused this with the orchestra into a fine Latin musical tapestry….”.
This GuitarSarasota performance of the The Guitar Duo of PABLO GONZALEZ JAZEY & THOMAS KOCH will be the premiere performance of the Gonzales-Koch Guitar Duo in the US with future performances in the US, and South America.
